Competitions
All Clubs offer regular competitions for novice, club only and those competitive members. All our Clubs are family friendly and we cater for all age groups.
NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS
SCWA is affiliated to Sporting Clays Australia; members are able to compete in the various National Championships conducted by SCA and also at other affiliated Member States, local and State competitions plus Internationally. You can also attend FITASC Championships.
STATE TEAM SELECTION
Sporting Clays WA conducts a series of State Team Qualifying events at member clubs each year. The resulting scores achieved by each competitor are aggregated over the year to determine the members that will make up the State Team who will represent Western Australia at the Sporting Clays Australia Nationals.
ISSF – UNIVERSAL TRENCH
Sporting Clays WA is affiliated with FITASC and should you want to compete in Universal Trench at an International level your membership allows you to participate overseas.
FIREARMS LICENSE SUPPORT LETTER
Sporting Clays WA State Firearms Officer provides assistance with club support letters as a genuine reason to own a firearm.
If your firearms licence is Club Only it is incumbent on the member to retain your financial status as a member each year, as conditions do apply.
INSURANCE
All financial SCWA Members and Visitors are covered by the National Association, Sporting Clays Australia (SCA) Public Liability cover $20,000,000.
Directors Liability Insurance protects any SCWA member who is on a Member Club Committee.
COACHING
Coaching and regularly run coaching sessions are available for all members.
